Description

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the most powerful space telescope ever launched, and since starting operations in July 2022 has already provided us with some of the most stunning images of our Solar System, galaxy and universe. The ongoing work is dramatically impacting our understanding of the early universe. The JWST employs very sensitive technology to see farther back in time than any other telescope. This talk will showcase the first year of discoveries and images, and provide a look into the next years ahead.
